Fantastic book

A new author for me. Mthis was not the story I was expecting, it was so much better. This story stars Sophia and Mike. Mike was impatient for a pizza he ordered over an hour before and decided he’d get it himself. He waited at the pizza restaurant and a man with a bomb vest walked in. Mike, an ex-seal took the man down and was a hero. Mike suffered from PTSD from his days in service. Sophia is his therapist. She has her own demons to overcome. Compelling.

This was a great read. Amani B Clarke never ceases to amaze me with the depth of her knowledge and articu!ation in her novels. Matilda and Jason’s story is no exception. Jason, a silver billionaire fox, has some childhood experiences haunting him concerning women and man with wealth until he meets and falls in love with Matilda a struggling artist. By this time the die has been cast! There is love, sister and brotherhood, deception, lost, brokenness, search and recovery. Yesterday’s Cappuccino is definitely a page turner and worth reading!!!
